This is a digital 3D printable model of Hornet’s Head from the Hollow Knight: Silksong game.
Designed as a wearable cosplay helmet with a detachable back piece.

The helmet is fully wearable for an average head size, tested on a 56 cm head circumference. No need to scale the files unless it’s necessary. You can print and test the included sizing ring before committing to the full model. This will help you visualize how the helmet will fit around your head. 🖨 Printer Settings

• Layer height: 0.20 mm
• Infill: 5% gyroid pattern
• Supports: 30° organic on some parts
• 10 mm brim for better bed adhesion

Settings may vary depending on your printer, so treat these as a starting point.

🛠 Assembly

Glue the parts together. Hex-pegs for easy alignment are included. For stronger joints, melt the seams with a soldering tool. Do not glue the back part – it is designed to be detachable.
Insert 16x round magnets 8x3mm size into the prepared holes to keep the back part in place. 
Visor installation:
Place the visor into the cutouts behind the eyes and glue it in. For a darker, smoother look, wrap the visor with black pantyhose before gluing.
Add padding inside the helmet for comfort and to secure it when worn.
